Love stories
Thanks to Phil, we had a fantastic and worry-free party! The system is very easy to use and can be operated by anyone. The tap unit also has a modern design, which was a great added value to our entire event setup. Highly recommended!
Wow!!! What a top-notch system! Your guests are impressed right from the first moment. Then they tap their own drinks and gather around the Phil unit. For you as host there is no work at all, on the contrary: you score in all areas. And you only pay for the kegs you actually use. No lugging around barrels, no cumbersome taproom or refrigerators. Just all-in-one! No more party without Phil!
Top service! It was really blissful: everyone at the party was able to serve themselves and the pints were delicious.
Why Phil?
Phil offers several drinking water systems, each with its own specifications and options. Fully customizable to your own wishes and needs.
Faster and reliable
Phil is always on time, likes to work long hours, is never absent, can tap 4 pints at a time and never gets tired. In short a sincere and reliable bartender without the expense.
Unprecedented tapping speed
Without exception, Phil always taps 195 pints from 1 keg! More profit, less gas and water consumption. Consequently, less transport costs and more environmentally friendly. Only profit.
Unique
Phil is unique worldwide. Our Phil-up drinking water systems have a patented filling method. This fills the glasses from below at an unseen tap speed. No other system beats that!
No labor costs
Labor costs for hospitality staff in Belgium are among the highest in the world. Calculate how much time it takes your staff to tap a barrel, and subtract it from the profit per barrel! This is what you save by working with Phil.
Asked Questions
Have questions? We're here to help!
What does it cost to rent a PHIL tap system for my event?
We will provide you with a custom quote without obligation. The quoted price is highly dependent on location, duration and number of people of the event.
We are of the principle quote = invoice price. So no unpleasant surprises afterwards.
Delivery and placement
The quote includes delivery and installation.
The tap installation is always delivered and installed by someone from PHIL. This way, the installation is always connected correctly and the technician can still provide a word of explanation about its operation.
Is there a deposit on the glasses?
There is a deposit of 3.00 euros per cup. These are settled only afterwards. Just like the barrels and CO2 consumed.
Usually 0 – 10 glasses are lost at a corporate – or private – event.
Can unused barrels be returned?
PHIL only charges for opened barrels. These are drums where the seal has been removed. Barrels where the seal is still on the barrel are therefore not charged.
Barrels will be charged after collection.
There is a red light on the tap side and the tap head no longer works.
The connected vessel is empty. Replace the vessel.
How do you do this?
- Lift the lever of the beer clutch and unscrew the clutch.
- Remove the empty keg from the tap system. Place a new keg in the cabinet. Loosen the seal on the new keg and connect it. Don’t forget to click the lever down for the CO2 flow.
- Next to the refrigeration hang beer kettles. See which koker is at a lowered level. This one is the one from the empty keg. To re-tap, turn the valve at the top of the koker open briefly to raise the level. When it reaches the top turn the valve closed again.
You can tap again!

You can tap again!
A lot of foam comes out of the system after replacing a barrel.
This is because the beer line was drained when draining the previous keg.
To tap again, place a few glasses on the tap head until the glasses fill perfectly again. This may take 5 to 10 -some glasses per tap head.
There is too much foam when tapping and the vessel is not empty
This is because it gets too hot in the cabinet.
Solution 1: Open the doors of the installation for a while so that the heat can escape.
Solution 2: Turn the cooling a little colder, one setting may be sufficient. (1 = warmest, 7 = coldest)
